“Our great Gurus ensured that society was free from all discrimination, fear and insecurity, and worked with the common commitment to protect the integrity and sovereignty of India. They promoted social justice, harmony and empowerment of all sections of society. The martyrdom day of the Sahibzades is an occasion to remember the revered Sikh Gurus and strive relentlessly to achieve the ideals espoused by them,” Sinha said.
Sinha unveiled a statue of Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Ji, a disciple of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, saying, “The administration is restoring the shrine of Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Ji in Reasi district. Devotees and tourists from across the country will be able to visit the spiritual place.”
